ECHO - A Museum Project with People from the hpz (Special Education Centre of the Principality of Liechtenstein)

What happens when you don’t merely look at an exhibition, but respond to it with your own ideas, forms and colours? In this collaboration with the Heilpädagogisches Zentrum des Fürstentums Liechtenstein (hpz, Special Edu cation Centre of the Principality of Liechtentein), people with disabilities take inspiration from objects in the Landesmuseum’s permanent exhibition to create artistic works of their own. Their works are displayed as an exhibition within the exhibition, alongside the corresponding objects. They form a deeply personal echo and open up surprising new perspectives. Out of history, stories of their own emerge. At the same time, the project invites us to take accessibility a step further: as genuine participation, encounter and creative co-creation.
